Seiryuu no Avatar - Ashitare by AniDragon Seiryuu no Avatar - Ashitare by AniDragon
The fifth in the Seiryuu no Avatar set of drawings.

I came up with the idea for this when I realized that there are a lot of similarities between the lead characters of Avatar: The Last Airbender, and the lead characters of Fushigi Yuugi. So, one thing led to another, and I ended up drawing the Avatar characters as their Fushigi Yuugi counterparts.

After I finished that, I figured that I needed to do the villains, too. Thus, the Seiryuu set was born.

Fourth is Zhao, the wild one, as Ashitare.

Not sure how I feel about this one. I didn't really enjoy working on it, which is why it took so long. I think it's because the folds on the cloths aren't up to par with the rest of the set, and it was throwing me off. *shrugs*

If you are trying to see the good in this drawing....the chains turned out good and I might of yelled out "FEET!" when viewing this piece. Just saying. lol. But kidding aside, it shows the progress even more now that you do full body pieces now. the feet could use some work, but hey I get how hard they can be, especially is odd angles.
Never know, you might of not had as much fun working on this one as they others, but you might take another punch at it one day. Maybe in a pose that's slightly less complicated.

Yeah, I felt the feet, and actually especially the legs were awkward. I kinda figured "Well, he's struggling, so he's not too worried about standing comfortably, so it's okay", lol. And actually, the awkwardness of the pose kind of helps the idea of him being trapped.
