My valentine's day pic is a wee bit early this year, since I'm submitting it to  's Digital Amore contest, and the deadline is tomorow.So, here's my entry to the contest, which I had actually been working on before I even found out about the contest. Anyway, yeah. Matrix and AndrAIa from ReBoot, because they are hot. Technical: Matrix was the hardest to draw, but AndrAIa was the most challenging to color because of all the textures. x_X Luckily, texturing happens to be one of my strong points when I do 3D, so I was able to apply some of that knowledge to this picture. Just as a note, scales are one of the most annoying textures to make. Not necessarily difficult, just really, really annoying. The game cube background was a bit of a challenge as well, but I think I got it looking okay. I also attempted  's "coloring the line art" technique, but I think I need to learn how to have a cleaner line art for it to actually look as good as Maria's.Matrix, AndrAIa, and ReBoot are © Mainframe Entertainment |

The actual image looks fine. It's just the full view and the download view on DA that's weird. The regular view is what the colors are SUPPOSED to look like.
