Her name is supposed to be Eléonore, not Eleonore, but DA won't allow the é in the title...
So... The original design for this character was male. But, since I'd basically exaggerated the "girly elf" aspect of him, at one point in time I realized that I might as well him a girl. So I did, and it changed pretty much nothing. LOL!
I've drawn the boy version of her before, ages ago: [link] I think I like the current design better. lol.
She's also from the same story as this guy: [link]
Bit of background story, she was sent to a convent to become a White Mage when she was younger, but ran away with Lex (from the Dying Magic picture) to become a thief. After getting separated from him and nearly caught, she went back to being a White Mage in an attempt at leading an honest life, and did so for a few years until Lex showed up at her door one day to try and rope her into helping him with a quest.
I drew the character part of this about 2 years ago, so there's a few things kinda meh, namely her hands. The background is a bit more recent, and took me a really, REALLY long time to do. x_X Especially the ivy.
Surprisingly, though, this didn't take me very long to colour... I thought that the ivy plants would have taken more time, but I guess they were easier to colour than to draw. Hehe.
Title is taken from the song Le Jardinier du Couvent, by 1755 (lyrics here: [link]), which was a bit of an inspiration for her background story... And name.
This is GORGEOUS!
Not is the outfit neat, but I love the details put into the folds of material and her hair.. and the background is BEAUTIFUL!
The ivy looks AMAZING, and the way the rest of the background behind her seems to fade away into a dreamy blur is awesome..

Also, great coloring!!! The colored lineart really gives that extra something special
